As you zoom in, the map changes from 2D to 3D, showing the height of buildings. When you click on any building, information about its number of floors, address and organizations located in it will appear.

The program works and calculates routes offline, for this you just need to download a map of this city. The database mainly includes cities in Russia (more than 200) and several cities in Ukraine, Italy, Kazakhstan and Cyprus.

Setting city data

Choose the most convenient option for you:

1. After launching the shell, click the "Load new cities" button and select the desired city (or several). Then click the "LOAD" button. The database will be downloaded from the Internet.
2. Download the city data file (with the .dgdat extension) from our website to a PC by following the link: for cities in Russia, for cities in Ukraine, for cities in Kazakhstan. Transfer it to your mobile device /Memory card/2gisMobile. After launching the shell, the city data will be automatically available for work. You can specify a folder for storing city databases in the application settings: select the "My" section in the main menu of 2GIS, then open "Settings", then "Catalogs" and specify the desired path in the "New cities" field.
3. Create a folder to store city databases on your phone or memory card. Copy the data file there and use the "Select from file" function when starting the shell.
