Setting up the telecard for the satellite. Installation of satellite television. Preparing the receiver for setting up a satellite dish

“TELECARD HD” set with EVO 09 IR receiver, “SUPRAL” antenna, d0.6m, and INVERTO RED EXTEND converter.

In order for all channels to work, reliable reception must be ensured. And for this you need to properly configure the satellite dish.

The Supral antenna with a diameter of 0.6 meters is well suited for tuning to a position of 85° East, in the south and southeast of Kazakhstan, in particular in Almaty and the region, as well as in other areas.

Although some experts say that a diameter of 0.6 meters is too small, I know from my own experience that this antenna size is quite enough to receive a “TELECARD”. And then this model is light and easy to assemble and install. You can do it alone.

The most important thing is to find a good place to mount the antenna, so that nothing blocks visibility, and fine-tune it.

The signal should be captured on a more powerful transponder, for example 12120N28000. This is what the values look like on the measuring device.

12120 values taken from the EVO 09 IR receiver.

As you can see, the picture is clear, there are no cubes.

I make more precise adjustments on the 12640V30000 transponder. The values should not be lower than those shown in the photo. I used the DIVISAT SF-600 satellite dish tuning device for measurements.

Another device may show different values, the most important thing is to achieve the maximum

Measuring the signal receiver EVO 09 IR on transponder 12640V30000. The values should be approximately the same or higher.

Here are some more values at different frequencies:

This is the least powerful transponder. All readings were taken on a cable 27 meters long, antenna d 0.6 m. By the way, these indicators are not maximum; Supra 0.6 antennas give indicators slightly higher than those that I published.

As you can see, the signal level on the device and the signal level on the receiver may be different. Moreover, the values may also differ on different devices. My advice: achieve as much as possible high level signal on transponders 12640v30000 and 12560v30000.

Happy setting!

Self-installation satellite kit (Continent TV, Tricolor TV, Telekarta, Telekarta HD) using the Telekarta kit as an example

Antenna installation and configuration sequence:

1. Antenna installation locations

The main criterion for choosing an antenna installation location is a clear view towards the satellite. The concept of “free view” implies that there are no foreign objects on the imaginary line that connects the satellite and the antenna: tall trees, buildings and others. The close location of the antenna to the location of the TV and its accessibility for specialists and the owner will simplify the procedure for its installation and configuration. It is advisable to install the antenna on the outside of the loggia or balcony, on the wall near the window or on the roof of the house. It is not recommended to install the antenna inside a loggia or balcony with glazing, in places where there is a possibility of water getting on the antenna or snow and ice: under a sloping roof, drains and similar places.

Correct choice of installation location satellite dish.

In order to choose the installation location for your antenna, you need to follow certain rules. Since all satellites serving telecommunications are located in geostationary orbit in the direction east ® south ® west, therefore, the antenna must go to them, otherwise it is installed on the roof of your building. When deciding to install an antenna, you will need to check for obstacles to the antenna from the windows of the house or from the roof in the place where you decided to install the antenna.

2. Antenna installation.

The complete set of equipment should include:

Offset antenna 60cm 1 pc.

Satellite terminal 1 pc.

Converter (Universal Ku-band) 1 pc.

Access card 1 pc.

2.1 Installation of the bracket.

To install the bracket, you need to have a drill with an impact mechanism or a hammer drill for drilling brick or concrete walls of the house. The installation of the wall fastening must be done on a vertical surface (strictly 90°, the fastening pin must be straight, without tilting to the right or left). It must be firmly secured to all provided contact points with dowels or anchor bolts. It must be remembered that anchor bolts first they are hammered into the drilled holes, and then they are tightened tightly, after which the nuts are tightened, the wall is installed, and the nuts are tightened. The strength of the created structure is checked.

It is advisable to first assemble the satellite dish itself and install the converter at home, and only then mount the whole structure on a wall mount.

2.2 Assembling a satellite dish.

During assembly, you must handle the antenna mirror (and especially those made of aluminum) carefully, without mechanical stress, and do not change the geometry of the mirror!!!

You need to assemble the antenna according to the operating instructions (assembly instructions are included with it). First, the entire rotating-mounting part of the antenna is assembled, then it is attached to the antenna mirror, after which the converter-holder bracket and then the converter-holder itself need to be attached to the mirror. Then you need to install the converter in the holder with the connector pointing down so that all kinds of precipitation cannot get inside the converter.

Then the cable is connected to the converter using the F-connector. The cable is secured to the arc of the converter holder with special plastic ties or insulating tape. It makes sense to leave a cable reserve near the antenna with a length of within 0.5 meters. Then you need to seal the F-connector connection along its entire length with two layers of insulating tape evenly. We install the antenna on the bracket. We connect the cable from the converter to the satellite receiver (after setting up the antenna, we secure the existing supply of cable with nylon clamps or electrical tape to the wall mount).

Before installing the antenna on the bracket, it is advisable to tie it with a safety rope (in case it falls from your hands)!!!

The adjusting nuts must be tightened in such a way that it is possible to move the antenna with a certain force, both in horizontal and vertical planes.

Installation sequence for standard satellite television F-connectors

Remove the top insulation of the cable by 15 mm without damaging the shielding braid. Place the shielding braid along the cable. Carefully place the foil along the shielding braid. Remove the internal insulation layer by 10 mm. Screw the connector all the way. “Bite off” the central conductor so that its ends do not protrude beyond the connector by more than 2 mm.

3. Antenna setup

If you are setting up an antenna without special equipment, you must first set up the satellite receiver (the setup sequence is described in the instructions that came with the receiver).

Receiver settings:

1 Frequency 12640

2. Polarization Vertical 3 FEC 5/6

4. Symbol rate 30000 MS/s

5. Broadcasting in DVB-S, MPEG2 format.

After turning on the receiver, enter the menu, select “channel search” (in this submenu there is a “signal level” scale » or two scales “Quality” and “Level” » ). In the event that there is only one scale, when the receiver is correctly connected to the antenna, a small background signal level will appear (when the level changes, being at the lower mark, you need to check the connections). In the case where there are two scales, if connected correctly, a level will appear on one of them.

Then start setting up the antenna. Being in this menu, start rotating the antenna. So position the plate so that it “looks” up a little and then slowly turn it to the right and left, watch the indicators on the signal level scale. To find the maximum percentage of signal from the satellite, lower the position of the dish slightly, by about 1-2°, and begin to slowly turn the antenna again relative to the horizon. Having finished adjusting the antenna, you need to tighten the adjusting bolts on the antenna itself.

Tired of the incredible bustle of the big city, many of us move to country houses. Moreover, all the amenities of high-rise buildings have long migrated to the countryside. If with the Internet everything is more or less solvable, then with television a problem arises in the form of an antenna that picks up the signal very poorly. Satellite television became our salvation, which, until recently, cost a lot of money, until such a brand as Telekarta, which Leonid Yakubovich is actively promoting, came to our market. The text below is a personal experience of installing this kit and is not hidden advertising.

Satellite television has long ago crossed the line of being an expensive pleasure. 3D printers are now trying to do the same thing. And although the cost of printing from plastic is quite high, you can buy a 3D printer in St. Petersburg today, without leaving the office. Moreover, delivery by transport companies has long washed away the borders of our country, and therefore you can buy such a printer anywhere in Russia.

Let's start with the fact that there are two types of kit - Telecard HD And SD telecard. We will review the SD version, which costs 4 thousand rubles (the HD set starts from 5500). What do we get in the box for this money? This is a plate (60 cm in diameter), a receiver, a converter, a bracket and other fasteners. And also your access card, which will need to be activated a little later. If you have already read reviews about Telecard, then, most likely, you have noticed in the discussions the opinion that a diameter of 60 cm is often not enough for a good signal. In our example, the distance from the city is about 15 kilometers and the signal, even in the most inclement weather, remains reliable. Therefore, if you do not live in the middle of nowhere, then a standard plate should be enough.

As for the receiver, we got a Globo X90 - according to comments online, it’s a good copy:

The most important disadvantage of the kit is the absence of an RCA cable (“tulips”), i.e. If you don't have a spare from a DVD player or an old VCR, you'll have to buy one. What Telekart was guided by when they did not include the necessary cheap wire in the kit remains a mystery. The most important question, after you connect all the equipment and install the dish on the roof of the house - How to catch a satellite? The lesson could drag on for days, if not for one wonderful resource - http://www.dishpointer.com/, which will show the direction of the desired satellite (and we need Intelsat 15). Let's see what it looks like.

On home page We write our city (possible in English and Russian). If your locality is small, then write the name of the city that is closest to you, zoom in larger and find your locality on the map:

As written in the original instructions, there should be no trees, poles, other houses in the signal path, in general, anything that could get in its way. This is not in vain - contrary to the stereotype “Since the TV is satellite, it means pointing it to the sky,” the dish will have to be placed in such a way that the signal will “drag” almost along the ground. This is what a dish already tuned to the desired satellite looks like from the street:

It is advisable for two people to manipulate the plate and monitor signal changes. One adjusts the angle and direction, the other monitors the condition on TV. Don't forget to set the settings specified in the brochure. Initially, the parameter " Power" will be equal to 45%, and " Quality" - 5%. This means absolutely nothing, such numbers mean that you did not catch the signal and they will not change until you catch it.

Initial data:

There is one small nuance that helped us a lot. On one of the forums, advice is given - to rotate the dish bracket a little to the east (about 10 degrees) and slightly towards the satellite. After we did this, the signal was caught almost immediately. This is what the screen will look like when you succeed:

pay attention to LNB frequency- it must be exactly the one provided in your region, otherwise you will not receive the signal. For example, in Syktyvkar it should be exactly 9750-10600

After this, you will need to activate your access card. The easiest way to do this is at the office. website - http://www.telekarta.tv/connect/activation.html. Some of the channels will default to English language- will need to be changed soundtrack in settings. Finally, the most important thing is the quality of work. Two weeks after the installation began, no problems arose. The signal was stable in any weather (even on a day when there was a storm warning). So far, Telekarta is earning back its money with interest.

Telekarta TV is one of the most popular satellite communication providers in Russia. But not all users want to pay money to a company representative who will configure the Telekart satellite dish. Why not try this procedure yourself? But for an ordinary person this is difficult, because he does not have special equipment, and his experience is very doubtful.

But if the equipment was purchased, and there is no representative office of the company nearby, so there is nowhere to call a specialist, you will have to figure it out on your own. On Telecard devices this is not so difficult, the main thing is not to break anything in the process. In addition, it is important to carry out several preparatory procedures. Although it would have been better to do them before buying the equipment.

Preparing for installation

First of all, we’ll check whether the Telecard will be accepted in the location we need, and only after that we’ll go buy a satellite dish. On the company's official website you can see from which satellite the broadcast is taking place. But we ourselves will indicate this data - the provider operates from the American satellite Intelsat-15 in geostationary orbit - 85.15° East.
