Warm up the thermal bag again and place it on the top edge of the iPad, on top of the front camera;

If the heat bag is flexible, you can bend it to heat the top left corner and top edge at the same time.
Place a pick around the top left corner of the iPad to release the adhesive.
Move the pick towards the top edge of the iPad, stopping in front of the camera.

Gently pull the latch and carefully slide the tip of the pick along the top of the top edge relative to the front camera.
Stop the pick moving slightly away from the front camera of the iPad;

Leave the pick in place and warm up the thermal bag again.
Place the reheated thermal bag over the iPad's home button area and let it sit there for a while to soften the adhesive under the glass.
Slide the lower left pick in the lower left corner to remove the adhesive on that corner;
Leave the pick in the corner. Stop for now and do not remove mediators from the iPad.

Some parts in the bottom panel area require extreme care:

Leave the pick from the last step in place to prevent the adhesive from re-sealing;
With the other pick, carefully move towards the left antenna, stopping in front of the home button.

Once all the adhesive has been released, open and turn the front glass over like a page in a book and leave it on your work surface.
The front camera housing can be attached to the front panel; clean the housing and place it back on the camera to protect it;
Slide the camera to one edge to free it from the glue and remove it from the front panel;
Return the front camera housing to the recess on the rear housing.
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the following screws securing the LCD display:

Three 3.3mm screws;
One 4.5 mm screw.

If there is a protective film on top of the LCD screws, remove it with tweezers.
Do not attempt to lift the LCD completely. It's still connected to the iPad with multiple home button cables. Raise only the front camera area;
Insert the flat end of a spudger under the LCD between it and the LCD plate and gently lift it up.
