Firmware for Chinese tablet Samsung galaxy tab. How to flash Chinese tablets? Firmware for Chinese tablets. What do we need

A person is faced with an incredible abundance of these devices, both from famous manufacturers and little-known companies. Moreover, there is often a situation when you have to choose not by hardware characteristics, but by the name of the company and cost, since this is the only thing that distinguishes the models.

The reason for this is assemblers from the Middle Kingdom, who literally flooded the market with almost identical tablets. It is not surprising that one of the questions that may arise from the happy owner of such a laptop computer is: “How to flash a Chinese Android tablet?”

Why replace software?

Owners of tablets from reputable manufacturers, as a rule, have almost no problems with the operation of their gadgets. Everything functions exactly as intended. However, unfortunately, this is not always the case with inexpensive Chinese models. Very often a situation arises when the user of such a tablet notices after some time that spontaneous redirects (redirects) to unwanted resources occur in any browser, although antivirus programs do not detect anything.

Replacing operating system files may also be necessary if any hardware or software components do not work correctly. In fact, the reasons can be very different.

Firmware selection

In order to replace control programs, you should carefully read the existing information on the Internet. Typically, owners create multi-page threads of specialized forums for each device, where problems and their solutions are discussed. It is there, in particular, that you can find instructions on how to flash Chinese tablets, as well as the firmware itself. We recommend that you read everything carefully.

Firmware is a set of files that are written to the gadget’s internal storage and form the operating system. Inside it, among other things, there are drivers that control hardware components. In case of an erroneous selection and loading process, the gadget may stop turning on, becoming a so-called “brick”. Firmware for Chinese tablets is selected not only by name, but also by revision. Let's give an example. Let's take the 3450DUO model. There are modifications B and W, which differ in the display driver. By downloading the operating system for W to the 3450DUO/B, the user will receive a dark screen. Next we will consider solutions based on MTK processors.

Flashing program

In order to “flash” the operating system into the tablet, you need, in addition to the firmware itself, to download the program. Often, a proven version is supplied along with the files to be flashed.

Firmware for Chinese tablets works better with the latest versions of the Flash Tool. So, 5.1352 has proven itself to be excellent. It is completely free and there are no accessibility issues.

How to flash Chinese tablets. Preparation

Before you begin the update procedure, you need to make sure that the gadget's battery is fully charged. You also need a computer running Windows (fewer questions arise), a free USB port and an appropriate cable. It is recommended to use laptops or PCs with a backup power system, since interrupting the flashing process can lead to disruption of the internal memory structure.

Often the question of how to flash Chinese tablets is asked because some unobvious mistake is made at the preparation stage. So, you need to create a folder in the root directory of drive “C”, and its name should not contain Russian letters, only English ones are allowed. It is important. Also no spaces.

The firmware files (boot.img, system.img) should be unpacked into it. The tablet must be turned off and not connected to the computer.

"Filling" the system

The next step is to run the flash_tool.exe program. In the Download Agent window you need to specify MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin from the directory of the flashing application. In the window below you need to select a markup file - the so-called scatter. This is the key point. Anyone who is interested in how to flash Chinese tablets should have at least a general understanding of this. Depending on the processor modification, the mentioned file may have different names. So, for modern mass-produced models it is called MT6582_Android_scatter.txt. You cannot substitute this file from other devices, even with the same processor. With rare exceptions. Otherwise, you will have to learn not only how to flash Chinese tablets, but also how to restore them from a “brick” state.

If everything is done correctly, a list of detected files (Preloader, MBR...) will appear in the main window. Here, a little higher, you can select the flashing mode. This can be Firmware Upgrade, Download Only or Format+. The second one is the least destructive. Most often this is what you need to use. Regardless of the correct preparation, we recommend that you always uncheck the Preloader block.

When all this is done, you need to click the Download button. The program will go to You need to connect the tablet to the computer and watch the download process. If everything went well, then you can close the program window, disconnect the tablet from the computer and turn it on. After the software upload operation, the initial download takes a long time, up to several minutes.

Important points

When learning how to flash Chinese or any other language, you should remember that:

  • When downloading a program from a laptop running on battery power, it is possible that the USB ports are turned off due to the battery charge dropping below a critical level.
  • Sometimes the UBOOT block is not flashed and the tablet does not start. The problem lies in the fact that the scatter file contains the path to uboot.img, and the list contains lk.bin, which is what it is, but renamed.

  • Some models of tablet computers and smartphones refuse to be flashed due to the peculiarities of connecting to a computer. In this case, immediately after connecting to the USB port, you need to press and hold the Power button along with the volume rocker up.
  • To avoid failures, it is recommended not to connect the gadget to the ports on the front panel of the personal computer system unit.

Fake

Unfortunately, not all mobile devices marked “Made in China” can boast of high quality and stable operation. Very often, gadget owners ask about how to flash a Chinese n8000 tablet. Well, if someone has this copy of a Samsung model in their hands, then one can only sympathize. Of course, we are not talking about any 64 GB of internal memory and 2 GB of RAM. At best, this fake has a modest 512 MB of cells on board for running programs and 1.5 GB of built-in storage. And, what’s really sad, it often stops working after a few months, even with careful use.

Still, there is a solution! Below we will tell you how to flash the n8000 tablet. The method, of course, is not a panacea, since absolutely any “filling” can be inside the branded case. Therefore, what works in one case turns out to be completely useless in another.

Determining the Hardware Configuration

The tablet must be carefully opened. There is always a designation on the motherboard, for example Mapan MX913 DC. It must be discovered and remembered (written down). You should also determine the type of touchscreen controller, sound chip and processor. You need to start looking for firmware for these components. For example, the touchscreen can be GSL3680, the wireless module can be RTL8188ETV from Realtek, and the processor can be the common Allwinner A13.

Note that all of the above will not apply to MTK in this case. Let's figure out how to flash a Chinese Samsung (tablet).

We revive a famous fake

To work you will need to download the Phoenuxusbpro program. It is available with both Chinese and English interfaces. First, in the application menu you need to select the desired image - firmware and open it with the Open command. The tablet is disconnected from the computer. When you press the Start button, the icon color will turn green. On the tablet, hold down Volume +, connect it to the USB port, and press the Power button. The “filling” process will begin. When a success message appears, you can disconnect the cable. That's all - the tablet can be checked.

But for some reason it does not auto-update. Even erasing data in the Google Services Framework application does not help. We suggest you read the article on how to reflash a Samsung tablet. This material will also help with other problems related to the Android operating system on your device.

After reading the article, you will know exactly how to reflash a Samsung tablet

IMPORTANT! To reflash means to reinstall (rewrite) its operating system on the internal (hard) memory of a phone, smartphone or tablet. A process identical to reinstalling Windows on a computer.

Preparing to perform firmware

Before you flash a Samsung tablet yourself at home, you need to prepare the appropriate “weapons”:

  • Install the Kies or Kies3 utility on your computer (the necessary drivers are installed with it);
  • Install Odin of the required version;
  • Download the firmware you are interested in.

Procedure for flashing firmware

Immediately before starting the process:

There are often cases of problems with devices after unsuccessful attempts at independent firmware.

The computer detects the device

Applications disappear in it, files and folders do not open, the splash screen is shown for a few seconds, but it does not load - you can try to restore it yourself.

For the current generation of people, the smartphone has become an indispensable assistant and an extremely useful device that combines hundreds of different functions. Taking a photo, counting the number of ingredients, setting reminders, checking the weather, reading the news, chatting with friends - this is not a complete list of everything that modern smartphones are capable of. Sometimes we simply forget that they do not last forever and are subject to gradual wear and tear.

Smartphones running the Android operating system have long filled the whole world with their diversity. Their software code is open and ready to be edited or improved. What is multi-file firmware and why is it needed?

Multi-file (service) firmware is used in “particularly severe cases” when regular firmware does not help. The main condition is that the smartphone be detected on the PC. In multi-file firmware you can find several files that flash all the components of the smartphone - from the system and modem to the bootloader and the regional part.

If a new OS version has been released for your smartphone or links to current firmware do not work, please report this in the comments below the post.

A hard reset did not help (resetting to factory settings), this was the first time I encountered such a problem, so the first solution was to seek help from experts. I took it to one miracle workshop, where it lay for almost half a year.. They couldn’t find the firmware in any way.. My patience came to an end, I took it away. On the way home I picked up a few more pros. They promised to do it within a day. To come pick it up in the evening - it turns out they didn’t ask for it. The answer is the same - they can’t find the firmware. They returned it in the same condition that I gave it to them.

Well, it wasn’t, I thought and decided to make my contribution to the repair of this unit, it can’t get any worse. After rummaging through the forums at home, reading how and what they use to sew such devices, I realized that the most important thing is to guess the firmware version. There were a lot of firmware options online for similar Samsung Galaxy Nout counterfeits. So I started downloading and trying them.

The most popular firmware for this device on the network turned out to be this: MaPan_MX913_DC_Jelly_Bean_4.1os_Root_Firmware_D20130601_UP And MaPan_MX913_DC_Jelly_Bean_4.2_Os_Root_Firmware_J20131101, but they completely lacked touchscreen support. That is, everything is beautiful, even if it’s in Chinese, but you can’t move your finger across the screen, you can only control the tablet from the keyboard, which turned out to be very inconvenient. I started looking for other options. On the site w3bsit3-dns.com and other similar sites, I found a lot of useful information. And having tried 100500 firmware, I never found one that would work with the tablet normally. Some worked with the touchscreen, but it had a dead zone about a centimeter from below, others had the calibration of pressing the screen knocked down, that is, you had to point your finger a centimeter below, others did not have a motion sensor or accelerator, some were in Mexican or completely in Arabic languages and so on. In general, I was tired of looking for a pig in a poke and I remembered that when I disassembled this tablet, I took several pictures of its insides and decided to look at the markings on them. The fact that there was a miracle processor there

All Winner A13 I remembered, and it didn’t give me anything, but what other inscriptions were there... After looking through the photos, I found this treasured inscription on one of the boards of the nameless tablet: “For-Fun Q3 Main v1.4”.

Well, now at least there was some other clue. Having gone to the software repository on mail ru through the same wonderful site 4PDA, I found several firmware for "For-Fun Q3 Main v1.4". Well, there was little left to do. Having downloaded the one that weighed more, 624 meters, I uploaded it to my tablet, waited impatiently for it to reboot, and was upset, the tablet froze on the same inscription “android”, on the second try I was lucky, downloading this “ZET6223WTAROM” weighing in 446 megabytes, firmware, I got 100% results! The tablet started working. Everything, absolutely everything worked as it should. Loading speed, screen, touchscreen and Wi-Fi - everything worked perfectly. I didn’t even imagine how it would be possible to upload a lot of cool applications to this China! The firmware turned out to be compiled on Android 4.0.4, which also pleased me, that is, it was more recent.

Well, now, in order, how and with what I did it all.

What we need: a computer with the Windows XP or Windows 7 32-bit operating system, the Phoenix suit program, a cord for connecting the tablet, firmware and the tablet itself.

First, you need to make preliminary preparations - setting up the tablet driver, both turned on and in firmware mode.

The following window will appear with the driver that needs to be installed, ignoring the warning that it does not have a digital signature, click "NEXT"

the equipment will be installed and a message will appear indicating that everything is ready.

All the same actions need to be performed with the tablet in UPDATE mode (this is when it is turned off, press the "Volume +" button, hold it and connect it via a cord to the PC, the red indicator on the tablet lights up, but the screen does not light up. The device will definitely be like an unknown one , perform all the same actions described above). Otherwise, Phoenix Suit will not see the tablet and will not be able to flash it.

We launch it, and do not forget to make sure that no errors occurred during the installation process, the goodle driver was installed
