“This is Good” is a popular Latvian Russian-language Internet show produced since October 16, 2010. The program is broadcast twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The blog is dedicated to reviewing funny videos on the Internet, similar to the show of American columnist Ray William Johnson.

The host of the program, Stas Davydov, gives his comments on videos sent by viewers or found by them. Interaction is usually used at the end of the transmission. In the early episodes of the program, another character participated - the illuminator Nastenka (more precisely, her voice), who began to appear again from the 164th to the 178th issues. A distinctive feature of the project is the absence of obscene language. YouTube viewers perceive the blog “This is Good” as an alternative to another popular blog “+100500”. Both blogs are Russian-language analogues of the Ray William Johnson show.

From the 29th issue, questions are removed rather than written. From the 48th episode of the show, it was released in HD format, and from the 55th to the 208th episode, the show began to be released with interactive subtitles in English for foreign users.

Issues 70, 96, 141, 198 and 308 were conducted by Ruslan Usachev. This fact was not very well received by the audience - all five times the videos received much more “I didn’t like” scores than in other episodes. Most commentators considered Ruslan not artistic enough. Issues 146, 195 and 298 were conducted by Ilya Prusikin, which was also received very coldly. The 214th and 310th editions were conducted by Mikhail Krzysztowski, who was received very warmly. The 243rd episode was hosted by Lee Kei, which again received a lukewarm reception. In the 296th issue, Stas Davydov announced that he was going to write vocal parts for his new group “Banana Bomb”, and therefore in future issues he would be replaced by guest presenters. The 297th episode was hosted by Danila Poperechny, the 300th by Daniil Maslennikov, the 301st by Sam Nickel, the 302nd by Yana Nezhdanova, the 303rd by Evgeny Zelenov, the 304th by Maxim “SnailKick” Kiselev, the 305th by Elena Rassokhina, 306th - the creator of the project Vitaly Golovanov, the 307th episode was conducted by the drawn Stas Davydov, created and voiced by Dmitry "Syenduk" Karpov, the 309th - Kirill Trifonov, Alexander Shuliko and Denis Kukoyaka, the 311th - Stas Oksaniy, and 312th - Victoria Yushkevich.

Since the 87th issue, the project has changed visually: the creators changed the inscriptions on the screen from white to gray with a white border, moved the microphone to the bottom of the frame, changed the design of the YouTube channel and the background on which the presenter is filmed, and also removed the “Spontaneous Madness Indicator” . As of episode 97, the answers to questions shown at the end of the video have been corrected. And starting from the 100th issue, the person whose interactive video question was included in the issue receives a branded T-shirt from the “This is Good” team. The design has changed again since the 270th issue: now there is a corner of the studio behind the host, the wall is white on the left, and black on the right. On the white wall, photographs of a woman’s breast and Milla Jovovich alternately appeared, then a sheet of paper pasted by Elena Rassokhina with the inscription “Stas is a fool”, whose place was then taken by a sheet of paper with a frame of Natalia Poklonskaya’s speech at a press conference.

Nowadays, keeping a public diary is considered a very interesting and profitable profession. develop into commercial ones, and successful popular bloggers become an example for others.

One cannot but agree with the statement that the authority of blogs with a large number of subscribers is increasing every day, turning into a real tool of influence on the readership.

Blogs on the latest gadgets, tourism, cooking, cosmetics and beauty make good money on the Internet. A personal online magazine, reflecting the hobby of its owner, becomes an online continuation of the extraordinary personality who promoted the project.

Types of blogs

So, of our country - who are they? Before getting acquainted with the top projects that attract new subscribers and advertisers, it is worth talking about what online magazines exist.

A resource with interesting content

A beginner, just making his way to fame, grabs literally everything and fills his blog with content of various contents. Some diaries resemble a huge dump of irrelevant news and photos copied from other sources. However, there are talented bloggers who skillfully look for what is interesting to their subscribers. Resonant content collected on the Internet allows it to remain in the top of the most read and cited projects.

Author's magazine

The opposite of the first project is the so-called blog magazine, specializing in a specific topic. The author expresses his point of view and captivates readers with what is closest to him as the creator.

There are often cases when professional magazines with an entire army of subscribers are bought out by large publishing houses, and further development occurs through investments. Such mutually beneficial commercial deals are practiced by famous bloggers both in Russia and abroad.

The resource described above includes the personal diaries of photographers who post original photographs, or celebrity blogs, the fame of whose owners allows them to quickly gain subscribers interested in the personal and professional lives of their idols.

Blogs on women's topics

Separate projects include magazines on purely women's topics: handicrafts, cooking, fortune telling and others. Popular bloggers post useful master classes that attract an audience of millions.

This also includes channels that are gaining popularity, the owners of which are well versed in the beauty industry and have dedicated their lives to beauty. Famous bloggers who talk about new cosmetics and share detailed makeup tutorials express independent opinions about products by testing them on themselves.

Many also accuse Brian of being similar in the content of his videos to the most popular video blogger in the CIS - EeOneGuy (Ivangai). This is explained by the fact that in his videos, Brian also has fun in front of the camera and does not advertise anything in his videos. The richest YouTube vloggers in 2019

This ranking table shows the approximate income of Russian YouTube bloggers at the beginning of 2019. It is important to note that these figures are just income, and not the final profit of bloggers. Often, most of the income is invested in the production of new videos, so the net profit from the channels remains a mystery. This list contains only those bloggers for whom YouTube is the main platform for earning money, which was calculated based on the cost of advertising integrations.

Top 12 richest bloggers and show business stars

The RIAB agency also assessed the income of show business stars and came to the conclusion that they still earn more on social networks than video bloggers. The richest author of the YouTube channel Wylsacom in terms of income for the second half of the year was surpassed by Olga Buzova (47.7 million rubles), Ksenia Borodina (42 million) and Ksenia Sobchak (28 million). RIAB attributes this to the fact that stars, unlike bloggers, can afford to advertise any product categories without irritating their audience.
